A high energy coaching session designed to develop confident, accurate and effective passing.
Players will improve their technique through progressive drills before applying their skills in realistic game based scenarios. The session will focus on passing from both hands, accuracy, speed of delivery, communication and decision making under pressure. Every activity is designed to maximise involvement, challenge players and help them transfer what they learn directly into match situations.
The masterclass will be led by Mike Masters, a qualified and experienced rugby coach who has worked with Northampton Saints since 2023. After initially working with the club full time, he remains involved part time within the Northampton Saints Development Player Pathway. He is DBS checked, holds relevant first aid & safeguarding certification.
Cameron Masters will support the session as a player demonstrator and assistant. He brings three years of experience within the Northampton Saints player pathway and will help demonstrate techniques while offering a player’s perspective.
